Our first facility is based in Nairobi, where the facility entails the construction of a 17,100 Gross Building Area (GBA) square meter / 15,000 pallet positions state-of-the-art temperature-controlled facility on a 6-acre greenfield site within the Tatu City Special Economic Zone in Kiambu County, Nairobi. The Nairobi facility will be ARCH Cold Chain Solutions East Africa Fund’s flagship site for Kenya and East Africa, providing an aggregation hub for wider distribution for some key sectors e.g., Pharmaceuticals and regional clients. The facility plans to be operational by Q1 2023.
